  • Visit Costs - The per visit cost is provided for simplification and billing breakdown. We only accept annual payment for lawn treatment services.
  • Grub/Insect Prevention - We treat to prevent Grubs and other insects from lawn damage. It is not always 100%. If a serious infestation occurs causing damage, a curative treatment would be necessary at additional cost.
  • Fungal Prevention - We apply anti-fungals at opportune times to prevent fungus from thriving. Weather conditions will sometimes interfere with treatment options or will create enhanced conditions allowing fungus to thrive. Curative treatments would be necessary to resolve at additional cost.

Our Schedule of 7-8 Applications

Early Spring (March - April)

Objective: Wake up your lawn, promote early root growth, and prevent weeds before they emerge.

  • Fertilization: We apply a slow-release, balanced fertilizer to promote healthy growth as the lawn comes out of winter dormancy.
  • Pre/Post-emergent Weed Control: We use a pre-emergent herbicide to prevent crabgrass and other summer weeds before they take root. Young weeds are treated to dispatch early.
Mid Spring (April - May)

Objective: Strengthen roots and maintain health, keeping weed population low.

  • Fertilization: We apply a balanced fertilizer and iron boost to kick up color.
  • Weed Treatment: Pre/Post-emergent is applied as well as spot treating for broadleaf weeds (dandelions, clover, etc)
  • Insect Prevention: We start the control of lawn damaging insects.
Late Spring (May - June)

Objective: Strengthen roots and maintain a healthy lawn heading into Summer.

  • Fertilization: We apply a balanced fertilizer and boost iron to maintain steady growth and promote root development as temperatures increase and rainfall decreases.
  • Weed Treatment: Post-emergent is applied as well as spot treating for sedges and broadleaf weeds (dandelions, clover, etc)
  • Fungus Prevention: Anti-fungal treatement is applied.
Early Summer (June - July)

Objective: Maintain color without overgrowth or stress during August heat.

  • Fertilization: A push of fertilizer and iron boost to fortify the lawn going into the stressful heat and droughts of August. We apply soil enhancers that help deal with Summer heat and low moisture. Water deeply but less frequently.
  • Conditioners: We apply an moisture control and soil conditioners to help through a dry Summer.
  • Fungus Prevention: Anti-fungal treatement is applied.
Late Summer (August to September)

Objective: Recover from summer stress and prepare for Fall growth.

  • Fertilization: A fertilizer is applied to encourage recovery from Summer stress and promote healthy growth heading into Fall.
  • Pre-emergent Weed Control: We use a pre-emergent herbicide to prevent Fall weeds, Winter annuals and grassy weeds before they establish.
  • Overseeding: This is the ideal time for overseeding to fill in any thin or patchy areas. Avoid using pre-emergent if overseeding. Aeration and topdressing can also be done in conjunction with overseeding for best results.
  • Fungus Prevention: Anti-fungal treatement can be applied.
Early Fall (September to October)

Objective: Provide needed nutrients and target winter weeds.

  • Fertilization: A high-nitrogen fertilizer is applied to encourage recovery from summer stress and promote healthy growth heading into winter.
  • Pre-emergent Weed Control: If conditions didn't permit the previous pre-emergent, we apply it now.
  • Post-emergent Weed Control: We treat to reduce Winter annuals and straggler broadleaf weeds.
Late Fall (October - November)

Objective: Store nutrients for winter survival and early Spring green-up.

  • Winterizer Fertilizer: Apply a winterizer fertilizer with high potassium content to help the lawn store energy for the winter and green up quickly in the spring.
  • Weed Treatment: Spot-treat any lingering weeds before the lawn goes dormant for winter.
