Precision Trimming & Edging
To complete the look of a perfectly manicured lawn, we offer expert lawn trimming and edging services. Using commercial, battery-powered trimmers and edgers, we shape your lawn’s edges and tidy up hard-to-reach areas, giving your property a clean, professional appearance. Like our mowers, our trimmers are quiet and emission-free, ensuring that every step of the process is green and efficient. We use dedicated metal bladed edgers for hardscape edging along sidewalks and driveways. This ensures a quality, clean edge that is consistent. For areas around trees and fences we use special reciprocators or rotary scissors that allow us to get close without damaging property.
Reciprocating Scissor Trimming
A part of our service offering that sets us apart from many other companies is our use of reciprocating scissors. Another variety of this tool is a rotary scissor. This tool is designed to trim your grass around vulnerable infrastructure such as wooden fences and posts, decks, playsets, or even tree trunks. The specialty nature of this tool allows you to get close to, and even touch, structures without causing any damage. If you have a company that is gradually whittling away your fence posts or pickets insist that they use this tool. If they don't they aren't worth paying for the service.
Expect Reliability and Consistency
Our "weekly" lawn care mowing, trimming and edging service is always "as-needed" but follows an estimated schedule shown below. We do not provide bi-weekly service unless it is required due to growth conditions or "as-needed", conversely, we won't service your property unnecessarily.
- Expect Weekly: April 1st (or March 21st) - July 21st (16 visits expected)
- As Needed: July 21st - September 1st (3 visits expected unless irrigated)
- Expect Weekly: September 1st - November 15th (9 Visits expected)
Lawn Health Evaluation
We provide seasonal health evaluations of your lawn and turf. We take note of any issues we identify and present them to you with options for correction. This could be as simple as recommending an additional inch of water for the week ahead or identifying a fungus that needs proactive treatment.
